@ChrisMayLA6 This makes the lack of investment in walking, wheeling & cycling so frustrating. They would earn themselves back many times over by savings to the NHS through more exercise, cleaner air, better mental health (less noise & more social contact).

Thanks for the boost, @ChrisMayLA6. It's heartbreaking to watch how much of the politics of austerity and neoliberalism consists of policies which directly and indirectly inflict huge damage on public health.
