I have a daughter who came out to me as a adult woman making her own choices in the world and so I totally get it.

I thought I had a son, but she filled me in on the misunderstanding, and I just flipped all the switches in my head right away.

So far, I haven't been able to do it in a way that actually has been able to look recognizable.
