Time to thin the herds so I can make room for other albums. But it seems like such a time suck to sell one at a time or even small lots online.

Had no idea was April 18, and an old fantastic shop reopened in town on Saturday. And now this dork is going to spend copious hours sifting through their stuff this week, which puts it off to about a good a start as any.

That’s why it’s key to find a great place with a lot of USED stock.

Those places are rare, but I’m very lucky in that regard.

I was in a big record shop in a big city a while back and was kinda shocked at a) how many new records were in their inventory (easily 1/3); and b) how expensive they were. Stuff that I wouldn’t have shelled out more than $10 for would cost upwards of $40 as a new pressing.
