It was great to catch up with them and to have a friendly voice with history to connect with. They are going through a lot of really big stuff, but are trying their best to manage and survive in the face of adversity. I am humbled by their resilience. ❤️

My friend is the most Fediversian of all the people I know IRL. They would love it here if they had the capacity for it. They were my friend before I first found the Fediverse, and I think they helped shape me in being the person I want to be here by offering acceptance and kindness.
