Reading Joel’s post on unpolished human websites made me think about the tension between keeping a site personal and still wanting it to be clear, readable, and discoverable.

Personality is a huge factor! Polishing a website can show some of that personality though and that is what drives people to you. Making people feel warm and cozy so to say. Having a website that looks like a bunch of words on a word doc, well that might not be so much. LOL.

Polish is definitely welcome, just not a requirement, especially so when it's detrimental to getting the thoughts out there, when you care about the looks more than writing something at all. But well, it's all up to what you wanna focus on ^^
