<p class="card-text line-clamp-3">The Tacoma City Council voted Tuesday to put a new “Connect Tacoma" levy on the ballot. Scaled back from a proposal voters rejected last April, the package still aims to fulfill goals of safer, more pedestrian-friendly streets.</p>
