Sometimes the most good you can do is to look away for a while and live a life.

This is why I practice direct action to help with basic needs (e.g. efoodnet.org), it's a way to fight evil while surrounded by good. Honestly I just cant let myself negatively spiral, and this is a better practice than avoidance.
