This exemplifies the kind of spring we're having.  In this River Birch, the high winds have snapped some branches and with all the moisture in the ground the heavily running sap is dripping profusely from the break.  HOWEVER, it's so cold that it's all freezing and forming icicles which the wind then breaks off to fall on passers-by. Never heard of that before then, which was like a week ago.
