<![CDATA[my counterpart at work very much needs things to run her way even when she is not really involved.]]>my counterpart at work very much needs things to run her way even when she is not really involved. she is helpful, but also a stress-case that needs not just wants to be involved in everything. i half let her just run the show and then also had to put my foot down sometimes when she was getting over-the-top. i am going to crash after today mentally and physically. but also not be able to sleep because my brain will be spinning.

There always seem to be someone in the workplace who is overactive, constantly 'pushing buttons' and waiting for cookies.

It's even worse when you're in charge of them, and then that person immediately seeks to task you: "Can/should I do this?"

Try telling them you are busy?
