<![CDATA[6 hours of listening to music later.]]>6 hours of listening to music later. Battery still almost full. Those iPods are still a marvel of technology. And as it is connected to post-battery headphones (Koss PortaPro), I can just enjoy another bunch of hours with fav music 😉

My player of choice is the sandisk clip* and not an ipod but the storage restriction is similar. And I don't choose the music placed on them - every few weeks I start a script to randomly fill them with tracks from my locally stored music collection. The music I'm listening to when out of the house was selected by me but is still a surprise. Works for me.

*) and yes, I have a whole collection of them to be able to use them a loooong time

Attached it to my MacBook M3 and it asked immediately if I want to install an available software update. Unfortunately it did not start playing any song. Don't know if it's the battery or something else.

Battery is not lasting very long anymore but for a 2 hour workout is fine. I just can't get scrobbler to work (for last.fm)
