Ich habe hier einen sehr üppigen Brennnesselbusch, er sieht beeindruckend aus. Nun hab ich mich aber schon zwei mal an ihm verbrannt, so sehr dass ich über 24 Stunden ein nerviges Jucken an der Hand hatte und die Stelle war auch leicht geschwollen.

Jo, die sind da so ähnlich wie Giersch und wurzeln sich ihren Weg immer weiter 😅
In den Ecken, wo sie nicht stören, lasse ich sie auch stehen bzw. entferne regelmäßig die Auswucherungen. Hab die beim Wurzeln raus ziehen aber auch schon voll in die Fresse gekriegt 🤣

Aber Brennnessel bilden super lange Ranken über dem Boden, da bringt dann ein Unkrautvlies wenig.

Und junge Blätter mit in den Salat werfen.
Blätter pflücken indem Du mit Daumen und Zeigefinger auf die Blattfläche fasst, dann verbrennst Du Dich nicht.
Für den Salat einmal mit dem Nadelholz drüber rollen.

ich weiss nicht wie sehr du den Space brauchst, welchen der Busch einnimmt.

vielleicht kannst du ihn auch halbieren oder so, dass er in die eine Richtung nur weiterwächt (das braucht vermutlich regelmässige Maintenance)

Aber die Pflanze wird selber durch jeden Zaun/Netz/whatever durchwachsen, dann müsste man den Part Abschneiden.

Hab sie bei mir wo sie im Weg waren mit Handschuhen raus gerissen aber selbst da sind sie an Stellen noch durchgekommen.

Bau einen Zaun drum herum.

Brennnessel sind gut für Schmetterlinge und schmecken als Tee. Für letzteres musst du halt auch lernen richtig damit umzugehen. Meine Großmutter konnte die mit bloßen Händen angreifen ohne sich zu brennen.
