And the funny part is πŸŒ½πŸ˜‚ the maize we gave the least attention is now among the most developed around us. Harvest time is getting closer and we can’t wait to share with the community πŸ˜‰

In maize are used to make posho, a common school meal. Fresh maize can also be roasted or boiled and tastes great πŸ˜‰.

The equivalent in Italy, also eaten in South Tyrolia, Tyrolia and Bavaria. We had it at home in Suebia, too. It's called polenta

I really like the weeds in between, which we gonna use to mulch the banana & coffee plantation

@iwein how does it work in the NL, do you grow corn as well or consume posho or corn porridge just like it works in East Africa?
