The trees are mostly quite young - the candidates for were mostly snags and moss and lichen covered stumps.
The stream was ripping from the soaking rains we'd gotten, it's waters a russet brown - leaf tea!
We were serenaded by Black and White and Black-throated Blue Warblers and a Golden Crowned Kinglet or two.

Spring!
