I agree with him.</p><p>He believes that a PM whose job is primarily to take customer requests and turn them into a 1 year roadmap is obsolete. The tech is changing too quickly for a year long plan to be durable.</p><p>I’ve always felt 6 months is the longest a roadmap can stay relevant before tech or the market makes it irrelevant.</p><p>Instead he says PMs should focus on what to build and why.
