But reuniting families, providing good jobs, housing, health care and education - is something that one would think true conservatives would support. Prisons does not reform anyone. It may keep someone locked up and in pain. But it will not reform them. It won’t make them a better person. And it doesn’t seem to be an effective deterrent.
