My friends, we do not have chickens. We have never had chickens. I had said nothing to Gemini which might reasonably be construed as being about chickens.
I gotta say, in my experience so far, Chat is way ahead of Gemini in accuracy and chat functionality.

It's a recipe for disappointment.
The push toward 'reasoning' models is an attempt to bridge that gap, but the compute cost and latency make it impractical for most things right now.

A few days later attempting a similar exercise, its internal “reasoning” said something about trying to find luxury hotels in Paris. I had never asked it about Paris or input any French. The actual results weren’t much better than the “reasoning.”
