My car also has a speed limit function in the cruise control that's equally handy in very low 30kmh/20mph zones.

Itā€™s particularly useful where speed limits seem artificially low. Thereā€™s a 30MPH limit on the A20 near us that bisects a village that doesnā€™t narrow from its 60MPH section.

The only minor issue I have with adaptive cruise is sometimes going a bit slower than intended when I couldā€™ve overtaken a while back.

What aids it does have mostly are more things that break and beep warnings and are annoying. I'd like my next car to have fewer complex subsystems, but electric cars seem to have more and more of them, which is depressing and slows me replacing the car.

Apart from automatic parking, if the car has it I use it.

So all of the first three plus driver profiles, remote start and lock/unlock, remote programming of navigation, trip journalling, blind spot warning lidar, 360 cameras with front and rear proximity sensors, automatic braking, stability control, etc.

So these are the options that take over some of the "decisions" of driving. There are of course other more or less useful technologies.
