Have you ever asked yourself why corporate media became so successful in the fist place? People are lazy, selfish, easy to manipulate and usually bad educated by default. Social media (at large scale) will never be healthy while people still being like it is now, but corporate social media is making the problem worst. It's a vicious circle and sadly i don't see an exit.

paelnever@masto.es

Reply to This is precisely correct. on Sat, 25 Apr 2026 07:36:57 GMT

@tchambers Can't stress enough how much I've actually learned here on #Mastodon over the past few days!

Mastodon is friggin' awesome!

bebef@kowelenz.social

Reply to This is precisely correct. on Sat, 25 Apr 2026 07:36:06 GMT

@tchambers The difference in the signal to noise ratio between Fediverse and legacy corporate social media is PALPABLE.
