I have purple podded, rattlesnake, and scarlet runner. The first two are good “green” beans, the scarlet runners have edible pods too, but I mostly grow for flowers to attract hummingbirds and for dried beans. Can grow in limited space. I do that with indeterminate tomatoes and it's spectacularly easier to see what you're doing that way. I'd imagine doing that with this method of zucc growing would also reduce not only the visual clutter but humidity under all those leaves as well as weight on the structure. you can tell I'm excited. I had to grow more starts and surround the bean patch with chicken wire. We decided this year to grow more beans (Pellegrini), so I have seeded 16 pots indoors. Then last night we spotted a baby bun bun eating grass near the garden.
