I second you on the wool socks. Figured that out about ten years ago. They’re all I wear other than the rare occasion I need some dress socks because I’m wearing a suit.

Another tip: you can wear them more than once (although I let them air out a couple of days). They’re naturally anti-microbial so they tend not to smell. (Hope that doesn’t gross anyone out.)
