<![CDATA[Summer and I have been weeding our bearded iris patch.]]>Summer and I have been weeding our bearded iris patch. Something we can do between changing loads of laundry. She keeps bringing me empty pots to help. She is an enthusiastic gardener.
My hands gave out before we finished.
I need to check the warranty. I think my hands should have lasted longer.
These little flowers are in a pot on our front steps. The violas and pansies are cool and damp and are favorite hang outs for frogs.

That's gorgeous!

If your green thumb needs a rest from gardening, you could always go inside and use your brown thumb to measure some flour, salt, sugar, butter, and maybe break an egg or two, and then run the mixer and the oven, and make something grow in a muffin tin.
