I don’t need much:</p><p>- 2GB RAM<br />- 25GB<br />- Bandwidth will be minuscule but I don’t want it metered lest someone hammers my box and costs me $1000<br />- Latest Ubuntu LTS<br />- 2FA web console<br />- Doesn’t require a copy of my passport (when did this become a thing?!?)<br />- Priced fairly</p><p>Hetzner and OVH want my passport. Gandi is ancient Ubuntu LTS. All the US providers want to do per-minute/byte pricing. Fly.io has no cost caps on bandwidth.
