But if I like what I have already experienced, and I can afford it, I'll buy it.

I want this artist to be able to carry on making / / , and hey, the next thing they create, because they're in a financial position to carry on creating, might be something I completely fall in love with.

So even if I don't listen or read all of it, and in that sense it isn't 'good value' to me, it doesn't matter, that's not the main reason I'm buying it.

I suspect ebooks have a similar issue if you get into them.

In related news, maybe I should get less new music on the next Bandcamp Friday. But, but, people keep releasing good new stuff...
