Just a heads up that it isn't always a ring - mine wasn't.

But mine was angry, purple, and quickly getting HUGE, along with a weird fever, so I got it checked out early.

The CDC has (had?) a gallery showing a variety of rashes that it may look like. And mine was in there.

Mosquito don't seem to bother me either. We're having a high tick year.

I'm on Doxycycline 100mg. The sun was starting to irritate me today, more my eyes though. I'm hoping I caught it early.

I got Lyme disease almost three years ago, and I got the antibiotics really quickly. It was July and my summer holiday was about to begin. I was found allergic to Amorion, so I needed to take Doximycin, which is stronger and worse. I had to wear long sleeves through the July heat, since my skin was really irritated by the sun. I haven't noticed any symptoms, so I hope the meds worked and I got off mostly unharmed. Made me really wary of those guys. Get well!
