Especially authors of noncon and other 'bad' erotica. Both because they deserve our support in their own right, and because they are the canaries in our coal mine -- the people who want to control us and own us will go after them FIRST.</p><p>Multiple times over the past ten years I've seen indie erotica writers hit hard by major platforms. But rarely have I seen other writers take notice, much less speak up.</p><p>We are all in this together. While I fully support anyone's right to write or read what they wish, I personally have a very hard time even witnessing the heavily sanitized sexual assault scenes on network TV. I simply would not be comfortable actively advocating for anything that glorifies rape.
