I'm working on a commission for a friend, something for The Thick of It. It's post-series and features Malcolm and Nicola, among others. We're at 8112 words in just two days, and we're 6 chapters in now. Everything's going well.

It's called "Don't You (Forget About Me)" and everything's going well. I've been writing nonstop for a few days. So far, we have six chapters published.

Author's Note: There are some things I need to explain here. This is my wheelhouse. I go for infusion therapy every 28 days and I know a lot about medical stuff due to my own chronic illness. I have Multiple Sclerosis, an autoimmune disease. This story will contain subjects that I'm well-versed in. I had the idea for this story the other day and my girlfriend convinced me to write it. Enjoy the ride.

Nicola needs to get a treatment done, still dealing with the side effects of suffering from influenza after recovering, and she finds a familiar face is in the office with her. She never expected to see him again. It's been years since she was torturing herself daily in government. Everything comes to standstill.
