<![CDATA[I enjoyed #startrek Strange New Worlds but the thing that irked me the most?]]>I enjoyed Strange New Worlds but the thing that irked me the most? The fact that since no one has to meet syndication numbers anymore, we only got 10 episodes per season instead of the 21 to 24 we would have gotten if it was back in the 90s. You got so much character development and fund stuff when had to figure out how to fill those episodes out. Sigh.

Plenty of interesting plot lines teased only to be rushed at the end.

In fairness, there were a lot of "filler" episodes, though, too. I'm halfway through a rewatch, and those episodes that are 3/4 tramping around corridors hiding from Jaffa make me want to tear my hair out. Fortunately, the actors can often save otherwise extremely lackluster writing.
