He was the son of George Found and Mary Wherrit.  In 1904 Edward married Martha Elizabeth Reed in Scarborough.  They had four children.Edward joined the Yorkshire Regiment  6th battalion.  Rank Private.  Reg. No. 18553.  On the 14th November 1915 Private Edward Found was killed in action, Gallipoli aged 36.
