Sites are a mix of ice and mud. We found a high and dry patch under some pine trees. Woke up at 0200h Saturday with my brother for astrophotography, finished around 0530h. The sky was clear and we got treated to aurora.Rain was forecast to start at 0900h. Made breakfast, broke camp, and headed home.
